Film folding machine

Close up of a film folding machine

Product testing is often a topic in our machine building projects. This machine, designed and built by us, is used to test film durability under stress.

The machine tests the impact of a folding movement on the durability of a film-like material. The movement is fast and operates at the accuracy of micrometres. The film is connected to the device and long tests are used for stress testing, involving uninterrupted repetition of a certain movement tens of thousands of times.

In the folding system we’ve created, ensuring standard tension and accuracy of trajectories lie at the core of our special competence. The control interface was created as a system that serves the customer’s own user interface.
