Contact us and let’s discuss how the Unitree G1 could support your specific needs.
Unitree G1 brings the power of AI into the physical world. It is a versatile development platform widely used in research, education and a broad range of application projects. Its precise mobility, advanced perception and strong onboard computing make it a practical tool even in real operational environments.
G1 is fully programmable and already in active use both globally and here in Finland. Probot is the official Unitree representative in Europe and supports customers throughout the entire process from selecting the right hardware to deployment, application development and training.

Humanoid robots are entering the market at a rapid pace and many of them remain impressive demos rather than practical tools. G1 is built for real use and has been tested in actual projects both internationally and here in Finland.
Unitree G1 is one of the most widely adopted humanoid robots in the field. It is technically mature, available in multiple configurations and competitively priced. Its developer ecosystem, documentation and programming support make it a reliable choice for both newcomers and experienced users.
The appearance of humanoids can be misleading. What matters is not how the robot looks but what it can actually do. The strength of the Unitree G1 is its usability. It moves with precision, perceives its surroundings and is fully programmable. G1 is designed to operate in real environments and to adapt to the changing conditions that come with them.

The Unitree G1 is designed to operate at human scale. Its strengths come from its balance of precise mechanics, advanced sensing and computing power that enables a wide range of research and development work. Below are the key specifications that highlight what the G1 can do and where it can be applied.

G1 is designed for environments that require precise movement, situational awareness and especially humanlike interaction. Its use cases vary widely and below are examples of scenarios we have developed together with partners and customers.
Guidance and wayfinding
G1 is well suited for directing visitors in hospitals, office buildings or other public spaces. Its gestures and clear communication make guidance straightforward.
Light logistics tasks in healthcare
G1 can move items, push carts and collect containers. These routine tasks take time away from care work, so the robot can support staff and ease the daily workload.
Industry and logistics
G1 can handle simple objects, sorting tasks and transfers. It can operate in human work environments without dedicated safety cages, which makes experimentation and piloting fast and flexible.
Customer service and reception
G1 can welcome visitors, provide information and manage light interactive tasks. Its communication style adds a small experiential element to customer encounters.
Education and research
G1 offers a versatile platform for studying robotics, AI and human robot interaction. EDU models support programming and application development on multiple levels.
The optimal use cases are always shaped by the specific environment and its needs. We can help identify where the G1 would bring the most value to your organisation and what kind of pilot project would be a smart starting point.

Purchasing a Unitree G1 is only the beginning. The real value comes from how the robot is integrated into an organisation’s own processes and systems.
Probot acts as a humanoid robotics integrator in much the same way as in industrial robotics. We design the use cases, program the robot for its tasks and ensure that the entire solution operates reliably. Proper integration is what determines whether the robot delivers real benefits.
Whether the project involves research, a pilot or a broader deployment, we support you throughout the entire process from start to finish. Our goal is to make sure the Unitree G1 serves your specific needs and fits naturally into everyday workflows.

When a humanoid robot operates near people, safety is always the starting point for design. Probot has more than 20 years of experience in robot safety within industrial environments and we bring the same expertise into humanoid robotics.
There are not yet dedicated national standards for humanoid robots, but safe deployments are still achievable. The key is careful planning: a proper risk assessment, consideration of the specific characteristics of the environment and a clear definition of how the robot will be used. We guide our customers through every step and ensure that the G1 operates in a controlled and predictable manner.
Safety is ultimately about the overall picture. It is essential to understand where the robot will operate, who will interact with it and what kinds of situations may arise in that environment. Probot works alongside you in this process and helps build a deployment setting where the G1 can function reliably.

You do not need to plan a humanoid robotics deployment on your own and you do not need to have all the answers from the start. We help you identify where the Unitree G1 could bring real value. The first step is a short on site familiarisation period where we bring the robot to your location, explore the environment and test together which tasks could work in practice.
Once the right tasks have been identified, we move forward step by step. During the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase we try the selected tasks in real conditions. If the solution performs as expected, the setup can then be piloted more broadly and later integrated into everyday processes.
Our goal is to identify the areas where the robot’s mobility and manipulation capabilities provide actual benefits. We work alongside you from start to finish and ensure that progress remains clear and controlled.
Would you like to see a humanoid robot operating in your own environment or book a short ideation session with one of our specialists?

Yes. G1 can navigate stairs, although steep or irregular steps may be challenging. Reliability depends on the shape of the stairs and the surrounding environment.
The standard package includes remote controlled movements, demo motions and gesture actions. The robot is ready to walk, grasp objects and run preprogrammed demos. Through the API you can build your own motion sequences and custom functionalities.
Yes. G1 supports 5G connectivity, enabling remote operation and real time data transfer.
Typical operating time is around 2 hours. The battery is swappable and supports fast charging, so uptime can be extended with additional batteries.
No programming skills are needed to use the basic demos. To start custom development you will need experience with robotics software and API based development. Probot provides support and training during onboarding.
Unitree G1 is well suited for research, education, logistics, customer service and industrial development projects.
